Sealed bids will be received by the Pennsylvania Northeast Regional Railroad Authority (PNRRA) for the following:
- Purchase and delivery of 2,500 – 7”x9”x8’6” or 7”x8”x8’6” Industrial Grade Crossties
Contract documents and specifications are on file at the PNRRA offices, 280 Cliff Street, Scranton, PA 18503 and may be obtained by calling 570-963-6676 or emailing cdoyle@pnrra.org. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the PNRRA of having obtained the contract documents and specifications. Ties must be delivered to Scranton, PA by December 4, 2020.
Bid envelopes are to be plainly marked with the project for which they are intended. All proposals must be addressed to and in the hands of the undersigned at 280 Cliff Street, Scranton, PA 18503, no later than 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 12, 2020. No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted.
The right to reject any and all bids is hereby reserved by the PNRRA.
The PNRRA reserves the right to waive any and all defects in the bids submitted. The PNRRA reserves the right to increase or decrease the amount of ties per unit price to meet funding availability.
All qualified bidders will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, creed, ancestry, national origin, age or sex.
